Who We Are
Ready to Play Childcare is a licensed home child care where kids can be kids. Ongoing research has shown that children learn best through play. Play and learning go hand in hand ~ they are not separate activities but intertwined. Wether playing with blocks or a fun game of HiHo Cherry O, children are learning important things such as sharing, taking turns, counting, colors, patterns, cause and effect and fundamentals such as eye-hand coordination, fine motor and gross motor skills.
Our Day
Our day consists of a flexible routine to include scheduled activities, free play and time outdoors. During this time we are learning important social skills such as sharing, respect of others, manners, communication as well as basic fundamentals such as letters, numbers, colors, shapes, patterns etc.
Infants are given plenty one on one time and floor play throughout the day to help to master skills such as lifting their head, sitting, crawling and eventually walking.
Menu
Breakfast, lunch and 1-2 snacks are served daily. All meals are healthy and nutritious. Seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables are served at every meal. Some of our current favorites are: green beans, corn, cucumbers, bell peppers, baked sweet potatoes, avocado, carrots, fresh pineapple, apples, bananas, strawberries, peaches, watermelon and grapes.
